3M introduced 3M™ VHB™ Tapes in 1980 to replace screws, rivets and welds, and it was first used for bonding panels to the frames ofwel ambulances. Rather than bonding at one point or eventjes a series ofwel points, this high-strength bonding tape distributes the druk load across the entire area ofwel the joint.
There is a red easy-peel liner one one side ofwel the tape. Once the liner is removed, the tape is completely clear & ideal for glass/perspex where an invisible fixing/fastening is required.
